integrative Evolutionary ecology of brains and behavior

Picture
The Botero Lab is broadly interested in how organisms cope with and adapt to fluctuating environments. Our work is currently focused on understanding the evolutionary causes and consequences of enhanced cognition as well as the variety of forces that drive the evolution of human culture. We are also involved in collaborative efforts to understand and predict organismal responses to climate change.
